Commission and costs
As the seller is engaged in the sales process, the commission rates are extremely favourable. The commission level depends on the sales price. No separate advertising or other costs are brought into account. When terminating the mediation agreement, you contribute to the costs that are made.
Inspections
With regard to the technical condition of your ship, we advise buyers to have a ship inspected prior to a purchase. Therefore, as a minimum, your ship must satisfy the criteria set by insurance companies and be free of substantial defects, unless expressly specified otherwise. The broker is present during the inspection to promote your interests.
Brokerage
In order to sell your ship, we require a mediation agreement, entitling us to offer your ship at the agreed price for the duration of the order on a sole agent basis. We will (e)-mail the documentation to our customers and incorporate the ship in our promotional campaign. We will carry out the sale always in close consultation with yourself. Only you will decide in the end to sell at a certain price or not sell.
Needless to say we do all the paperwork, tax questions, arrange surverys and yards public notaries, whatever needed!
